Cadillac Escalade IQ 2025: All the Details

As announced earlier this year, the Cadillac Escalade will have its electric version. This is the first model in the brand\’s regular lineup to receive an electrified version, unlike the Lyriq and Celestiq, which are entirely new to the range.

The gasoline-powered Cadillac Escalade is a vehicle of immense proportions in every aspect, and the same holds true for its electric version. The figures it offers are impressive. We\’re talking about a power output of up to 750 horsepower and a range of 724 kilometers (450 miles) on a full charge.

An Electrified Look

The Cadillac Escalade IQ features a design similar to that of the Lyriq, especially at the front end. The B and C pillars have been designed to blend into the windows, giving an impression of grandeur and a very streamlined profile to the American manufacturer\’s SUV. The model is thus very elegant and refined despite its imposing stature. Additionally, it comes with 24-inch wheels. As for ride comfort, there\’s no need to worry since the Escalade IQ combines an air suspension with magnetic suspension for an optimal experience.

The interior of the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ is also slightly different from its gasoline version. The first thing that catches the eye is the massive screen that spans almost the entire length of the dashboard. In total, the screen measures 55 inches in diameter. The dashboard and multimedia system section occupy 35 inches, and the remaining 20 inches provide an additional control screen for the front passenger. As you probably guessed, these are not the only screens you\’ll find in the 2025 Cadillac IQ. There\’s another screen upfront for certain controls like air conditioning. The rear offers a similar screen as well as a 12.6-inch screen on the back of each front seat.

The impressive figures don\’t stop there, as the American manufacturer\’s SUV comes with a standard 36-speaker audio system and an optional 40-speaker system. It offers a maximum cargo capacity of 3375 liters. The Escalade IQ provides not just one or two, but five different zones for temperature control inside the cabin.

Powerful and Capable

Cadillac hasn\’t held back and offers a spectacular mechanical setup for its Escalade IQ. It boasts a power output of 750 horsepower and 785 pound-feet of torque. Its maximum towing capacity is 8,000 pounds, which is excellent for a large electric SUV. Moreover, the Escalade IQ is capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in under 5.0 seconds.

Production of the model will begin during the summer of 2024. Its Canadian price is not yet known, but we do know that the Cadillac Escalade IQ will be available starting from $130,000 USD in our neighbors to the south.
