Although it\’s just an update, the Cadillac CT5 gives the impression of having been completely revamped for 2025. The luxury sedan retains the same silhouette, but the front and rear sections have been completely redesigned with more modern lighting. Nevertheless, it\’s on the inside where you\’ll find the most radical transformation with a new 33-inch screen and a higher-quality finish than ever before. There aren\’t really any mechanical innovations, which is excellent news because the range of engines currently offered by the Cadillac CT5 has everything to please.
The Cadillac CT5 offers a more sporty and dynamic look for 2025. Its more aggressive front end is the main cause of this change. The modifications to the rear remain more subtle but are still noticeable. Two new colors have also been added to the CT5 lineup for 2025: Deep Space Metallic and Typhoon Metallic.
A Modernized Interior
It was time for Cadillac to take the lead in terms of the interior of its sedan, which was starting to feel outdated. Now, the dashboard and multimedia system are combined in the same screen, offering a 33-inch diagonal surface with a 9K resolution. This is not the only technological improvement inside the CT5, as it now features the Google system in addition to offering 5G Wi-Fi connectivity. Super Cruise is also available for certain versions of the American sedan. It\’s one of the most advanced autonomous driving technologies currently available on the market.
4 Engine Choices
There are no changes on the mechanical front for 2025. The luxury sedan will still come equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine as standard. The power of this engine remains unchanged for 2025, with 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. The same goes for the 3.0-liter V6, which produces 335 horsepower and 405 pound-feet of torque. As for the CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing versions, no data has been revealed at the moment, but we essentially expect to find the same engines as on the 2024 models.
Production of the Cadillac CT5 2025 is expected to begin in the spring of 2024, which means that the first units will arrive at dealerships in early summer 2024. The CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing versions will be unveiled later, but no date has been announced yet.
